3 Splurge-Worthy Skincare Products
This year was the first that I really started noticing signs of aging in my face. Instead of running out to find an injector to shoot me up with botox, I figured I had first better take a hard look at my skincare routine and see where it was lacking. I’m not at all opposed to botox and will likely do it in the future, but instead of jumping right to the needle, I felt it was best to first really invest in products to keep my skin looking youthful and combat wrinkles. Here are a few of the totally splurge-worthy products I’ve added to my routine.
Retinol is known as the gold standard among dermatologist for keeping your skin from showing signs of aging. Retinol can reduce pore-size and wrinkles, brighten and even-out skin tone. I knew I needed to add a high quality retinol to my routine but I didn’t want to sacrifice my desire to stick with clean beauty. I’ve already noticed my wrinkles diminish and my pores are shrinking. I only use this a few days a week to prevent dryness and irritation. I highly recommend following the instructions strictly like I did, less is more with retinol.
Next incorporated this Noni Bright Vitamin C Serum. Vitamin C is known to help with dark spots and help plump the skin and provide powerful antioxidants. I use this serum everyday because it’s very gentle and I love the uplifting scent in the morning. I’ve definitely noticed my sun damage fading with use.
This last product was kind of an impulse buy after a recent facial, but I’m actually totally obsessed with it. One Love Organics Botanical B Enzyme Cleansing Oil + Makeup Remover is so luxurious and efficient. I found myself reaching for it night after night totally neglecting my other cleansers. I’m just obsessed with how delicious it feels and how nourished it leaves my skin. This product is seriously amazing and it pairs wonderfully with the retinol cream because it soothes any irritation!
I was skeptical at first to invest in such expensive products, but it just made sense if I was considering investing in injectables anyway. I have seen noticeable improvement in my skin by implementing new treatment based products!
